Teachers Training

Yogashakti Yoga Teachers Training

Whether you wish to share and teach yoga, or simply deepen your practice, we are offering a 200-hour Yoga Teachers’ Training.
An effective Yoga Teachers’ Training is comprehensive and eclectic and develops your inner teacher. Allow the Yogashakti program to fine tune your personal practice so that you become qualified to teach yoga if you choose that path. Yoga teachers are best if they share their knowledge with the students that are in front of them, rather than a set program. Yogashakti has been training yoga teachers for the last forty years that is compatible with all traditions.

You will study yoga philosophy and the subtle aspects of yoga with Ma Mokshapriya. Her extensive knowledge comes from decades of personal practice, study and teaching. Raj Shtrom and Kim Lebron will lead you in exploring the yoga asanas. You will learn to teach each asana with proper alignment, its physical and mental benefits, and precautions. Raj has been practicing yoga her whole life and teaching  in Long Island for the last twenty-five years. Kim has been studying at Yogashakti and in India and teaching for many years. To teach yoga asanas one needs to have a deep understanding of human anatomy. Janine Ambroze(RN, BSN, ERYT, NCPT) will bring anatomy alive through yoga postures.  All of your teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.
