Gratitude Changes Lives!

The most important daily practice is gratitude. Whenever someone comes to me with life challenges, or just wishes to grow spiritually, I recommend for them to start a gratitude journal. Every morning write 9 items that you are grateful for. I did mean write. Doing it in you head is different. Writing by hand has a different effect on the brain and imprints the thoughts deeper and more powerfully. Every thought that we have travels from us as energy in an infinity sign and picks up similar thoughts. Gratitude thoughts will attract more things to be grateful for.

Courage an Essential of Life

Courage brings inner confidence and personal power. It is not dependent on an outside force. It is not dependent on others opinion or approval. To choose integrity and honesty is self-rewarding with an inner freedom. Our inner Self, our Spirit knows the truth. When we do not acknowledge the truth of our Spirit, we are drawn into the collective consciousness of our society for validation.

We understand that when we give love we are tapping into the soul of our being. The heart opens. Our pure self filters through us in the form of love. This pure self, is our soul. It is our divine nature. It is the essence of our existence. When we give love that essence is tapped, and when it filters through us we feel happy.

The Guru Disciple Relationship

A guru is a guide. A guide that has strength and weaknesses but practices and lives the path. The relationship between disciple and guru should be with respect, but also open to interaction. The disciple needs to understand that knowledge and power is channeled through the guru from a divine source and not from the person. Divine power comes in the form of love, understanding and acceptance.  Not from control.
